Yes, you can change your major. Just contact our office, and we can update that for you. At Baylor, when admitted to the university, you aren't admitted to a particular school or college.

This gives you the flexibility to change majors at any time, contingent on meeting any departmental requirements prior to or upon enrolling.

Yes, students are allowed to have cars on campus. Vehicles must be registered with Parking Services. Parking permits are available for purchase for the year, semester or summer session.

Baylor is a medium-size campus, and students can easily walk from one side of the campus to the other in about 15 minutes.

Aside from walking or biking, Baylor provides shuttle services around campus.

The Baylor University Police Department is committed to ensuring the safest campus possible.

Most crimes reported to Baylor police involve property crimes. This includes thefts, burglaries and criminal mischiefs. Crimes against persons such as assaults, robberies and sexual offenses are historically low.

The Office of Access and Learning Accommodation is committed to ensuring equal access in all aspects of the college experience for students with disabilities in all of Baylor’s programs, including those taking courses online.

With 400+ student organizations on campus, there are opportunities for everyone to get immersed in the Baylor culture, regardless of your background.

You can even start a new organization if you're passionate about something that's not already represented. If you're interested in a religious organization that is not Christian, there are local places of worship that often meet students' needs.

There are also vast opportunities for student employment on campus. Some paid student leadership positions have a Christian requirement, but the majority of student positions are open to all religions.
